General information

The underlying international data quality needs to be considered as poor. Public available data is aggregated with very different strategies of the respective institute regarding timelines and definitions when and how to report an infection. This makes it very hard to create clean and aligned data sets, but in most of the interesting comparison the specific numbers are less interesting compared to the development of the numbers.
